WORLD THROMBOSIS DAY

The St. Paul's Hospital Thrombosis Clinic hosted their second year of the World Thrombosis Day campaign on Thursday November 26, 2020.  This event was open to the public and included a half hour educational session on signs and symptoms and risk factors for blood clots.  It was followed by 30 minutes of question period where everyone was invited to upload their questions to our Slido platform.

One in four Canadians are affected by blood clots.  The majority of Canadians, however, are unsure of the signs and symptoms of blood clots.  Knowing the signs and symptoms can save your life or save the life of someone you love.  Join us to learn more about blood clots and what to do if you develop any of the signs or symptoms.
